Crestview Rebels (8-1, 6-0) Certainly the Rebels are in the playoffs. The question could be will they win the league title outright and host a first round game? With a win against Mineral Ridge the Rebels will probably get the #3 or #4 seeding for the first round; however a loss could cause them to slip to the #5-#7 seed. So there is no question that the Rebels do have a lot to play for this Friday night.
South Range Raiders (7-2, 5-1) The Raiders are in a bit of a precarious position, as they must win against United to have any shot at the playoffs, and also a shared league title. If the Raiders win at United, they could conceivably jump all the way up to the #4 seeding, but should they lose to the Eagles, then they will at best, finish #9 in the computer polls. If the Raiders beat United, there is a definite possibility that the Raiders and Rebels could meet again.
Mineral Ridge Rams (6-3, 5-1) The Rams forecast is almost a carbon copy of the Raiders. If the Rams have any hopes what-so-ever, they must beat Crestview Friday night. A win will give the Rams a shared league crown and a playoff appearance as they could also climb as high as the #4 seed. However, a loss will end the season for the Rams as they look to finish no better than #9 in the region. Here again, if the Rams win against Crestview, they may get the opportunity to play the Rebels once again, this time at Crestview.
United Eagles (6-3, 4-2) For the Eagles, the game against South Range is a playoff game. (The same can be said for Ridge and Range.) However, if the Eagles beat South Range they can only advance as high as the #6 seeding, putting them in a possible re-match with Crestview, or more likely a trip to Cuyahoga Heights. Of course a loss will knock the Eagles out of playoff contention as they will not finish any higher than #10.

Western Reserve Blue Devils (8-1, 5-1) The Blue Devils have already clinched a playoff appearance, but they must win for any chance at landing a shared league championship. At the very least, the Devils will get the #4 seeding, but if Mathews can beat Ledgemont, then they could move up to the #3 spot. What is very interesting is that if McDonald beats Southern Local this Friday, there is a very good chance that McDonald could get the #5 seed, setting up a re-match of the two rivals.
McDonald Blue Devils (7-2, 6-0) McDonald is in an inevitable spot. They must win to claim an outright league championship and go to the playoffs. However, if they lose to Southern, then they will share the league title and quite possibly could be sitting at home in week #11. As mentioned already, there is a good chance that we could see a Reserve-McDonald re-match in the playoffs. If they lose, they need help to grab the #7 or #8 seeding, which will match them against either Wynford or Mogadore.
Southern Indians (8-1, 5-1) It looks most likely that the Indians are in the playoffs. But a win against McDonald would give them their first league title, albeit a shared one, and could actually give them a home playoff game. With a win the Indians could finish as high as #3, but a loss will require a little bit of help for them to stay in the playoff picture. Most likely they will place at #6 and could play at Newark Catholic or Malvern.

Here is a brief overview of what is at stake this Friday night in the ITCL. We could have as few as two league champions and four playoff teams, or we could actually have six league champions, and six playoff representatives. What is for certain, we should have at least three games this Friday night that will determine who, what, and where the ITCL stands with its league, playoffs, and overall picture for the 2010 season. No one should stay home this Friday if you are a true high school football fan!
