| Lowellville - The Southern Indians slugged out a 12-0 win at Lowellville to keep both their playoff hopes and league title hopes alive, and improved to 8-1 on the season. The Indians appeared to be poised to jump out early as they were driving on their first possession, but they were turned away as the Rocket's Geno Moore would pick off an Indians pass. Moore's interception at his own 5-yard line was the first of two on the night for him. Moore would make his second steal two possessions later when the Indians were on the move again, but this time Moore would make the pick at his own 36-yard line. After going three and out, the Rockets would have to punt the ball away. However, the Indians Sebastian Baddley would rush in off the right edge at block the punt. He would also recover the ball at step up the Indian in excellent field position. Five plays later Zack Puckkett would blasted into the end zone from 3-yards out to give the Indians all the points they would need on the night. Indians kicker Steve Treadway would slip on the extra point and the Indians would have to settle for the 6-0 advantage. The Indians would threaten again just before halftime when they would drive to the Rockets 9-yard line. However, this time the Rockets would put up a fierce stand and force the Indians to attempt a 26-yard field goal attempt. Again Treadway would mis-fire and the Indians would have to settle with a very narrow 6-0 lead at halftime. In the second half it was the Indians defense that would turn away two Rocket threats as Lowellville would take their first possession of the half down to the Indians 11-yard line before they would have a pass in the endzone go incomplete on a fourth and six situation. After the Indians fielded a punt at the Rockets 40-yard line mid-way through the fourth quarter, the Indians would put the game out of reach.with a 12-yard touchdown run by Zack Puckett with just 5:51 remaining in the game. Lowellville would threaten once more at the very end of the game. Following injuries to Randy Pavlicko and Moore, freshman quarterback Alex Harklerode would lead the Rockets down to the Indians 4-yard line with one last gasp. Unfortunately for the Rockets, Harklerode's pass on the games final play would fall incomplete in the end zone. On the night, Puckett would rush for 172 yards and score two touchdowns. Griffith would connect on 7 of 15 passes for 79 yards, but with two interceptions. Pavlicko would lead the Rockets in rushing with 33 yards, and he would also hit on 1 of 2 passes. Harklerode would hit 3 of 9 passes for 76 yards, and Moore would connect on 6 of 10 passing for 75 yards. |

| North Lima - The Crestview Rebels picked right up where they left off last week as they rolled to a 34-19 win over South Range to clinch the ITCL Upper Tier with a Columbiana loss tonight. The Rebels jumped out early with a slick halfback pass from Colin Gilbert to Nathan Climo, and touchdown run by quarterback Adam Coppock, and a Zach Moore 32-yard field goal to score 17 unanswered in the first quarter. Nick Blower would add to the Rebels advantage with a 39-yard scamper that gave the Rebels a commanding 24-0 lead, before the Raiders would finally come to life. Raiders quarterback Ross Stoffer would hit his tight end Dan Good for a touchdown pass in the second quarter to cut the Rebels lead to 24-7. But Moore would connect on a 24-yard field goal just 10 seconds before halftime to give the Rebels a 27-7 at intermission. After the Raiders would fumble the ball into the end zone which was recovered by Crestview, the Rebels would take advantage of the mis-cue and score on a second Coppock touchdown run.
